Feta Crab Dip
Makes 8 to 10 servings


4 ounces (1 cup) Treasure Cave® Crumbled Feta Cheese, divided
2 tablespoons butter, divided
2 tablespoons finely diced shallots
8 ounces fresh crabmeat
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 green onions sliced
1/4 cup Italian panko bread crumbs
Salt and pepper, to taste
Tortilla chips or crackers


1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Remove 1 tablespoon Feta and set aside.

2. In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add shallots and
cook until fragrant and translucent. Add crabmeat and cook until no longer
translucent. Add mayonnaise, cream cheese, all but 1 tablespoon Feta, and
lemon juice; heat and stir until mixture begins to bubble. Stir in green
onions and pour into oven-safe dish. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Meanwhile, melt remaining tablespoon of butter and combine with panko.
Sprinkle over dip along with remaining Feta and bake 12 minutes or until
crumbs begin to brown. Serve hot with tortilla chips or crackers.
